A Timeless Wedding of High School Sweethearts at Mansion at Bald Hill

L + N’s story began at the Pomfret School in Connecticut, where they met as high school students. Their bond, filled with love, laughter, and a shared energy and charm, blossomed into a deep friendship and eventually romance. For their wedding, they returned to where it all started—the beautiful Pomfret School.

The ceremony was held in the stunning old chapel, its historic exterior adorned with creeping ivy. This full-circle moment marked another significant milestone, as their high school advisor officiated their ceremony. From prom to their wedding day, Pomfret has created so many lasting memories.

Adding to the charm, a dear friend gifted them a vintage car for the occasion, providing a stylish and fun mode of transportation (despite the challenge of driving a stick shift). The getting ready as well as the reception took place at the beautiful Mansion at Bald Hill. The florist, Bloom Creative Floral truly outdid herself with whimsical florals and hanging installations featuring hints of pinks and beautiful white clematis.

L + N added a personal touch to their celebration with a DIY cake topper— two Polaroid pictures of themselves kissing—a fun and unique detail that perfectly captured them. The day was a perfect blend of elegance, nostalgia, and heartfelt joy, celebrating the journey of their love and we absolutely loved being part of their wedding day!
