Floral-Filled Winter Wedding at Artists for Humanity
Sabrina and Max’s story began on Halloween night in Boston, when they both found themselves at a crowded apartment party neither of them had planned to attend. As luck would have it, a chance encounter on a patio thanks to a friend’s playful nudge led to a conversation that neither of them wanted to end. It was the kind of beginning that felt effortless and meant to be.
Years later, they welcomed family and friends to Boston for a wedding weekend that was as meaningful as it was beautifully curated. The festivities began at Sumaio with a rehearsal dinner and traditional tea ceremony. The intimate gathering honored their families and heritage, setting a tone of warmth and gratitude for the weekend ahead. Every element was thoughtfully planned by the talented Linda of Lemon Drop Team, whose vision helped bring Sabrina and Max’s ideas to life with elegance and ease.
The wedding day took place at Artists for Humanity, where the couple brought the feeling of spring indoors to brighten the chilly Boston winter. The contemporary space was softened with romantic floral installations suspended above the ceremony and reception spaces, creating a feeling of lush abundance despite the December date. Delicate centerpieces offered quiet nods to Sabrina’s cultural background, and the atmosphere was one of fresh beauty and celebration.
A highlight of the evening was a dynamic lion dance performance, a joyful homage to tradition that delighted guests and added a vibrant energy to the celebration. From the emotional moments during the tea ceremony to the bouncing florals and spirited dancing, every part of the weekend reflected Sabrina and Max’s story, rooted in intention and love.
