J+D's romance began back in 2013 during their college years when they met at a party. Though J felt an immediate attraction, fate had other plans. Post-college, D returned to Massachusetts while Jenny remained in Vermont. However, destiny had a twist in store.

In 2019, when she relocated to Boston, they met once again and their love was reignited. Their engagement, unfolded on June 9, 2023, amidst the company of cherished friends while strolling along the Greenway en route to a fundraiser chaired by J, who boasts a knack for orchestrating unforgettable events at Fanuel Hall.

Their wedding, was held at the beautiful Cruiseport in Gloucester, overlooking the bustling port below. Infused with personal touches, their ceremony and reception celebrated their unique bond, with hues inspired by traditional Vietnamese wedding colors. They both LOVE food so there was a plethora of delectable options.

Among the evening's highlights was the delightful inclusion of Ben and Jerry's ice cream, courtesy of J’s friendship with the franchise owner in Boston, who generously donated treats for all attendees. As the night unfolded, guests reveled in watching J + D dance joyously, honored to share in their special day.
